She bought a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, the textbook of Christian Science. Although her sole purpose was to find healing, as she read the book she discovered a whole new way of thinking and living which started from the basis that she was already perfect—the perfect image of a perfect God.

After her complete cure, she started to experiment with the spiritual insights she was gaining from her study of Science and Health. She discovered that Christian Science healing was based on rules which, when applied correctly, produce complete cure of physical, emotional, mental conditions. Through this method of healing, she was able to cure her children of Asthma and Eczema and retarded growth. Her practice expanded to include people from all walks of life, those of all faiths and of no faith.

Greenwood became an accredited Christian Science practitioner in 1996. Today she has her office in central London, where she works with patients referred from therapists and other medical practitioners. She has been invited to present cases of her spiritual healing work of acute, chronic, and incurable diseases to the Medical and Scientific Network, nursing groups, and university faculties. As a writer and speaker on Christian Science healing, she travels internationally to give seminars and workshops to medical faculties, universities, and health expos. She is a frequent celebrity guest on BBC chat shows.
